Chapter Four

Two days had passed since the pool party and Alexis hadn’t seen Dimitri around since she had apologized and slipped from his Jacuzzi and hurried back to her room. As much as she wanted to stay and see where the night led, she didn’t want to give Nikko any reason to send her packing. Certain she’d blown any chance with her hot neighbor, she glanced at the sexy outfit on her bed, one she’d picked up at Zen’s boutique in town earlier that day. Hot as Dimitri was, maybe she’d be better off steering clear of him, all things considered, and hooking up with someone else.

When she’d stopped by the shop, Zen had insisted she come out to the club with them tonight, but after fleeing from Dimitri’s party, she wasn’t so sure she should. Then again, he likely didn’t want to have anything more to do with the skittish American after her hasty escape and this would give her a chance to meet a few more locals.

Her phone beeped, indicating she had a text. She grabbed it from her nightstand.

Stop overthinking things and just go!

Alexis laughed. Even thousands of miles away, Mel knew what she was thinking.

Okay, okay.

And don’t worry about Mr. Speedo. It’s his loss, not yours.

I’m not so sure about that. You didn’t see him.

I still think you should have done him. Right there in the Jacuzzi!

I told you. Nikko was watching.

Maybe that’s his thing, Alex. Maybe Nikko gets off on it. Did you ever think of that?

A shimmer of excitement moved through Alexis at the thought of Dimitri touching her while Nikko watched. Her pussy quivered with anticipation. I hardly think so.

Yeah, well you never know.

Wanting to redirect the conversation, Alexis took a picture of the sexy top and skirt and sent it to Mel. What do you think?

I think the guys are going to be fighting over you.

I don’t know about that, but it’s gorgeous isn’t it?

Yeah, so put it on and get out there and get yourself laid.

Alexis crinkled her nose, a sudden bout of apprehension moving through her. What if no one was interested? Maybe I should just stay in.

You know I’m dying here, right? Jesus, Alex, get dressed and get out there. I need this as much as you do!

Alexis laughed. I’ll talk to you later.

Alex tossed her phone onto her bed, took one last look out her window in search of Dimitri, then decided the hell with it. Zen was giving her the opportunity to meet guys and she was damn well going to take it.

After dressing in the silk, cleavage-complementing top Zen had specifically picked out for her, and the short skirt that enhanced her curves, rather than hid them, she fussed with her makeup and hair. Standing before her mirror she had to admit Zen knew what she was doing. She actually felt pretty in the clothes, and with the way the guys had all admired her body at the pool party, maybe her apprehension was for nothing.

She slipped from her room, noting how unusually quiet the house was.
